Tiger Woods Car Accident - Bad Driver Rumours and Possible Golf Cart Ban

Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer to have ever played the game, according to many, and it is fantastic news that he seems to have escaped relatively unscathed from a bizarre driving accident on his own driveway. It appears the driving in question however, was not Tiger practising his swing in the yard but actually reversing his car from the driveway!

This of course raises many golfing questions; perhaps most importantly will anyone ever step into a golf cart or golf buggy with Tiger Woods again?! It may be a lonely old fairway in the next few months as Tiger chases even more majors to add to the 14 he already has in the bag. His journeys from the clubhouse to the first tee, in the Tiger mobile may be accompanied by cries of "Fore" as fans scatter for safety!

Perhaps electronic golf trolley companies will be hesitant and reluctant when Tiger says he will endorse their latest trolley or perhaps they will simply remove the reverse gear and add a seatbelt for the clubs!

Regardless, Tiger will remain the most important factor in world golf. It cannot be underestimated what he has done for the popularity of the sport, especially as statistics show that while Woods was sidelined through injury during 2008, golf viewing figures plummeted dramatically.

Will 2010 be the year of the Tiger once more? Wishing him a speedy recovery from his minor injuries and looking forward to seeing him hit seven shades out of that golf ball in the coming year and the fans roaring, "Get in the hole!"

I suppose even what he has for breakfast is news. So the guy has an argument with the wife and leaves in a huff. I am sure he will be OK. But the way it was reported seems a bit breathless and vapid. Slow news day.

I left all the personal stuff out of the article and tried to come up with a different, hopefully more original angle. His business is his business but I couldnt resist the "driver" jokes! Thanks for the comment.
