You know the kind of celebrity article you want to write and you know it could be a good one, well written, informative, and even funny but how do you get people to read it amongst the many other thousands of celebrity articles that are being written every day? Google Adwords Keyword Tool can be a brilliant help when constructing your hot gossip article.

Materials Needed:
First of all you need to arrive at the Google AdWords Keyword Tool Page and the link should help with that.

1. Keywords Build You a Celebrity Picture
Once you have arrived at the site, the fun can begin. What or who is your article going to be about? Perhaps all we know at this point is that we want to write a celebrity article. Let's check out a generic search for the word "celebrities" as an example.

Key in "celebrities" in the box where it says "enter one keyword or phrase per line". Now you can enter multiple phrases here and you will get combined results but for the sake of simplicity, let's stick to our one word for now. Once your word is in, key in the little code to prove you are human and sit back and watch the results appear.

2. Star Searches Now Exposed
You are now usually presented with up to 150 keywords for the topic "celebrities" and if you scroll down the page, a further 50 "additional keywords to be considered". This of courses gives you masses of choice which can be both a blessing and a curse. The keywords are sorted by relevance in descending order.

So what is the top word for this search? It's "celebrity". Looking across the columns of the page, you will see a local search volume column for the previous month and further across a global search volume column with numbers listed in each. At the time of writing, "celebrity" has a more than 4 million local search volume and a global search volume of more than 16 million!

It's clear that this is a hot topic to search for on Google. A few of the other big words or phrases are celebrity pictures or pics, celebrity gossip, videos, scandals and celebrity blog. In the additional section below, you will actually see names of certain celebrities appearing, along with incorrect spellings of certain words (because Google still provides results for misspellings).

Some of the names in this list include, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Carmen Electra, Katie Price, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennifer Aniston. No guys' names in this list I am afraid.

3. Number Crunching and Decision Making Specifics
With some of these huge numbers, you have important decisions to make. If you just use phrases with the big numbers, will you strike it lucky and millions flock to your article? Or will there be so many articles on your chosen theme that it will just get lost in the crowd?

This is where narrowing down your search or putting in longer phrases may help. Most people search the internet for something specific. For example, perhaps you want to write about Jennifer Aniston movies and in particular her new upcoming movie "The Bounty Hunter" with Gerard Butler, then try a more specific search using variables of these words.

Britney Spears may have a new album or video out and you want to write about that. Key in the phrases and find out what other people are searching for.

These are just a few examples of how you could you the AdWords Keyword Tool to your advantage when writing articles. It will work for any theme you choose and it's free to use. Although beware, if you leave your browser idle for a period of time, you session will time out and you will have to start again.
