Lance Armstrong is yet to officially comment about allegations and rumours that he may have taken performance enhancing drugs that have surfaced in the wake of Floyd Landis admitting that he did indeed use drugs during his cycling career.
The latest tweet to be posted on Armstrong's Twitter page says he has spoken to the press and a statement will be released via the Team Radioshack website soon.
Lance Armstrong is 7 times winner of the Tour de France; perhaps cycling's most prestigious and important race. Not only has he won it seven times, but he won them all in consecutive years, from 1999 to 2005. This all after Armstrong had been diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996 which went on to spread through his body. He is known for his brave and unrelenting fight against the disease.
In recent years though, professional cycling has been riddled with controversy after controversy and drug scandals galore.
