Google TV, coming soon to a, um...TV near you soon! That's right, not content with tattooing its logo permanently onto your retinas as you spend your day glued to the internet, the Google bods are infiltrating the world of television too.

Unsurprisingly, the news, which Google announced at I/O, has sent the phrase "Google TV" to the top of Google trends in the past few hours. Apparently, Google TV will be built into some new TV's later in the year, whilst it will also be available in the shape of a box that you can hook up to your TV.

Google say the idea is to merge two of the world's most popular medium, internet and television together.

Now, you will be able to watch your favourite TV shows, and when the commercials are showing and you see a product you like, you can do your internet shopping before the show comes back on. All without leaving the comfort of your armchair!

There are plenty more features too...check it out! It won't be hard to find.
